Relief of a boy Standing on his Hands

This is the second part of the Oliver Plunkett National School Commission. It is a boy standing on his hands sculpted in maple timber and framed with cherry timber. The framed relief measures 1900 mm x 1210 mm x 150 mm. This is positioned in the reception lobby of the school. I wanted the idea to complement the concept of the girl and bird in the schoolyard and continue to generate a sense of curiosity and fun indoors.
